Ingredients
  

  • 200 g 7 oz pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt adjust to taste
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Boil water in a pot, add salt, and cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining.
  2. In a pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Reduce heat to low and stir in cream cheese, milk, parmesan, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Add pasta water gradually to reach the desired consistency.
  4. Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce until well coated. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra parmesan. Enjoy!
