Baked honey mustard chicken

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken is one of those go-to meals that delivers big flavor with minimal effort. The combination of sweet honey and tangy mustard creates a balanced, rich glaze that perfectly complements juicy, tender chicken. It's a dish that feels both indulgent and wholesome, making it a favorite for family dinners or casual gatherings. The chicken bakes in the oven until golden and flavorful, absorbing all the deliciousness of the sauce. This dish pairs well with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a crisp green salad. The glaze thickens beautifully in the oven, coating every bite with that signature sweet and savory goodness. You can use chicken breasts, thighs, or drumsticks depending on your preference. It’s adaptable, freezer-friendly, and easy to prep in advance. Whether you're a weeknight warrior or hosting a cozy dinner, this recipe fits the bill with ease.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup whole grain mustard or more Dijon
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
