Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp cinnamon optional
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas. Add flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in the milk, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Pour about 2 inches of vegetable oil into a deep pan or skillet. Heat over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  3. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil, frying in batches. Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  4. Dust the fritters with powdered sugar and serve warm. Enjoy them as is or with a drizzle of honey or chocolate sauce!

  • Refrigeration: Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
  • Reheating: Warm in an oven at 350°F for 5 minutes for crispiness.
