  • 8 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup cream cheese softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, mozzarella, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir in the crumbled bacon until well combined. Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  2. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs. Roll each cheese ball in flour, dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange coated cheese bites on a greased baking sheet and bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Let the bites cool slightly before serving. Pair them with ranch dressing, marinara sauce, or honey mustard for extra flavor.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy these irresistible Cheesy Bacon Bites with friends and family! For a hearty meal, try them alongside Old-Fashioned Goulash for a satisfying dinner experience.

Notes

  • Refrigerate: Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for crispiness.
  • Freeze: Freeze uncooked bites on a baking sheet, then transfer to a freezer bag. Bake straight from frozen at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes.
