  • For the Beef Marinade:
  • 1 lb flank steak thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • For the Stir-Fry:
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water slurry

  2. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Blanch the broccoli for 2 minutes, then drain and rinse under cold water to keep it crisp.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
