Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips semi-sweet or milk chocolate

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, stirring until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture into the wet ingredients, stirring just until incorporated. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Use a cookie scoop or spoon to drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown while the center remains soft. Remove from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
