Fudgy Brownie Cookies

Fudgy Brownie Cookies bring the best of both worlds—crispy edges like a cookie and a soft, fudgy center like a brownie. Made with real melted chocolate, these cookies are intensely rich and have that signature crinkly top. Perfect for chocolate lovers, they pair beautifully with a glass of milk or a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Method

  1. Melt the chocolate chips and butter together in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
  3. Sift in the flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder. Stir gently to combine, then fold in the melted chocolate mixture until smooth.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them apart. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes, until the edges are set but the centers remain soft.
  5. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Enjoy warm or store for later!
