Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1 small red onion finely chopped
  • 1 small tomato diced
  • 1 jalapeño finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro chopped
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Mash with a fork until smooth or slightly chunky, depending on your preference.
  2. Mix in the chopped onion, diced tomato, jalapeño, and minced garlic. Stir gently to combine all the flavors.
  3. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the mixture and sprinkle in salt and black pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  4. Add freshly chopped cilantro and give the guacamole one last stir. The fresh herbs enhance the flavor beautifully.
  5. Serve immediately with tortilla chips, tacos, or as a topping for your favorite Mexican dishes. Enjoy!
